As we are fast approaching Camden's arrival, we wanted to set up this site to share our experiences with those whom we love and love us in return.
Jeremy and I cannot wait for our baby boy to be born and we can't believe that we are less than four weeks from his due date.
We have been very busy getting ready to meet the new addition to our family...from endless trips to Baby's R Us and Target, to washing tiny clothing, to putting together strollers, carseats, and swings- Camden has already become the focus of our world!
We have been taking several classes geared toward first time parents...we had our all day Lamaze course this past Sunday and really learned a lot about what to expect during labor and delivery. Although we both know it is truly impossible to predict how our experience of bringing Cam into the world will be, we at least feel a bit more prepared for the "good, the bad, and the ugly" of childbirth.
Even though the anticipation of labor is weighing heavy on my mind, I've heard many mothers say that once they hold their new baby in their arms, all of the pain and discomfort of the actual labor/delivery vanish from their minds. I am comforted by that notion.
So here's our first blog entry...and so many more to come.
We hope you will enjoy taking a peek at our lives as new parents and most importantly, the growth and development story of our soon to be baby boy!
